Who we are
Offload is a trading name of MKTCONSULT LTD, registered in England & Wales, company no. 16164658 ("we", "us"). We install and support AI systems for UK businesses, in person. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: hello@offload.uk.
What we collect and why
- Enquiries and bookings. When you book a call or discovery visit, or email us, we collect your name, work contact details, company name and anything you choose to tell us about your business. We use this to respond, prepare for and deliver the service you've asked about. Lawful basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract, and performance of that contract.
- Client engagements. If you become a client, we process business information needed to scope, build and support your systems — always under a written agreement and, where we act on your data, a data processing agreement. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- Website analytics. We may use Google Analytics 4 and the LinkedIn Insight Tag to understand how visitors reach and use this site, including for measuring advertising. These set cookies and process pseudonymised identifiers and usage data. Lawful basis: consent where required, otherwise our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our marketing.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal data.
- We don't use your data, or our clients' data, to train AI models — and the business-grade AI tools we deploy are configured so providers don't either.
- We don't send marketing emails without a lawful basis to do so, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
Trusted service providers who help us run the business — scheduling (e.g. Calendly), email and document tools, analytics providers named above — each processing data only on our instructions. Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA; where they do, transfers are protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data: up to 24 months after our last contact. Client records: for the duration of the engagement and afterwards as required for legal, accounting and tax purposes (typically 6 years). Analytics data: per the retention settings of the relevant tool, typically 2–14 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@offload.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies set by the analytics and advertising tools described above, when enabled. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without affecting the site's core content.
